Mom is one of the more prominent members of Back 4 Blood. Sure, she might be on the older side, but rest assured, she can really hold down the line if she needs to. As her name suggests, Mom does play a bit of a parental role for the other Cleaners.

What role does Mom play in Back 4 Blood?

Mom plays some really good support. While she is technically a support character, there is significantly less pressure when it comes to playing that part. Her perks really synergize to give her team a bit more of a safety net when things go awry.

Mom’s abilities

  • Mom can instantly revive one team mate once per level.
  • +1 Support inventory
  • Team Effect: +1 team extra life

The best weapons to use for Mom

Mom can really use any type of weapon she wants. She doesn’t necessarily excel or get extra damage with certain classes. She does, however, start off with a double barrel shotgun— The Belgian— that acts as a sidearm.

Since she has a shotgun in one slot, I’d personally recommend using an LMG, assault rifle, or SMG. You’d want to use weapons that don’t pull from the same ammo pool as her starting weapon. Since she has that instant revive, she’d want to use something that doesn’t impair her mobility too much.
